BERRIMA DIESEL SERVICE is a family owned and operated business situated approximately 100km South of Sydney and 1 km South of the Southern Highlands historic township of Berrima. Reinhard and Andrew are the original 'Diesel Gurus' specialising in the 'Black Art' of diesel fuel injection and are recognised world wide amongst the 4WD community. We specialise in all aspects of 4WD diesel fuel injection including specialised injector servicing, fuel injection pump tuning, and turbocharging. We are Australia's leading 4WD Diesel Turbo Centre. We have a range of "power up" options available for all factory turbo diesels 4WD's including the Legendary 'Plug'n'Play power-up module for NEW Electronic diesels! We are a small family owned and operated business working on a specialised and personal level providing expertise and service which is hard to find elsewhere. Our experience is unsurpassed as daily we work on vehicles from all over Australia. Reinhard and Andrew work 'hands on' and as a result have full input to the quality of work. Reinhard and Andrew are a father and son team. Reinhard was born and trained in the fatherland of Diesels, Germany. He trained with Bosch Germany and still employs all the original repair principals. Like many things today these repair principles have been lost and replaced by the 'throw away' technique, but not at Berrima Diesel. When your vehicle comes in for a Fuel Injection Performance Tune we work over and tune the system with precision using the following procedure. We DO NOT use Reconditioned or Exchange injectors as some others do!! Fuel Injection Performance Tune Injector spray patterns are set by hand, using the 'Old School' technique, to a level that burns our poor quality Australian diesel. Pressures are set to the maximum specification and are equal across the set of injectors. Haphazard settings are NOT accepted here. Taking the time to achieve these precision settings is what sets us ahead of the rest. Fuel lines and strainers are inspected and cleaned. Cold start system is inspected and tested. Valve clearances are adjusted and set. If the vehicle has a turbo, we check its operation and set this to match the rest of the system. Injector Pump settings are then finally adjusted to match the system. Once this procedure is complete the vehicle is subjected to extensive road testing and tuning. This is where we come into our own. We do not rely on dyno tuning as all vehicles run 'on the road' or 'off road' and these conditions cannot be achieved sitting in a workshop.
